Minneapolis-based (NYSE: MDT) is expectedd to confirm on Monda y that it has selected the Alamo City as the site fornew back-officre operations — which will include sale and marketing functions to support the company’zs expanded diabetes division. San Antoniop public officials sayTexas Gov. Rick Perry will be in San Antoniko on Monday afternoon to make an economicdevelopmenyt announcement. One public official says that announcement isaboutt Medtronic, which has selected a site for its new San Antonil operations at The Rim, a mixed-usde development near Loop 1604 and Interstate 10.
