Despite the generoux allotment of funding tovarious agencies, the Unitedr Way of Metropolitan Dallas says it has been impactedd by the recessionary conditions. The agency raisecd $58.4 million during its 2008-2000 campaign season, but 12 percent of its pledge s have been deemed uncollectable because of the effectsw ofthe economy. As a result, investmenf funds are down by 3.9 percent.
