Specifically, the college was honored for its effortes to createa job-entry technology skillz program based on industry-driven knowledgew and skill sets.
Tod Bruning, the college’s IT workforcre program manager, built a partnership with , Southwest ISD Career & Technologies Department, Time Warnerf Cable San Antonio and the Advanced Technology Center at the Port of San The college created a Basic CableInstaller program, a CompTIA A+ Deskto Support Technician program and a Gateway to a Careerf in Information Technology program. Since its inception, the CompTIA A+ Prograj has graduated more than60 programs. The Basic Cablre Installer program graduated 13 students sinc e it beganthis summer.
